My fiance had his interview on Nov.30th and was denied K1 Visa under Section 221(g)??? Our case is being sent back to USCIS for revocation???

I want to know if we are able to make an appeal and what further help can we get!!!!

Please someone tell us can we be given the opportunity to plead our case???

Help....Heavy heart...Don't know what to do...????

The case will be sent to USCIS for review. The USCIS will contact you and let you know what are your options. The reason you were denied is that CO doesn't believe in your relationship.

You can wait for USCIS to contact you, which could take several monthes or you can get marries and start new petition for CR-1 visa. But make sure to document trully everything so there will be no questions from the CO on your relationship. You will need to cover all the bases for the initial denial so it will not happen again.

There is 27 years age difference between me and my husband. We were married in Jamaica on 9/6/10. I filed the I-130 petition and it was approved. My husband had his interview on May 13th 2011. We had all kinds of evidence that we were in a bonafide relationship. They didn't even look at any of it. My husband wasn't given a denial slip while at his interview. He was told the paperwork was being sent back to USCIS for further review. I recently called USCIS to get information about the case as they had received the paperwork back on June 29th 2011 from Jamaica. I was told that I would be contacted by Dec. 29th with an update as to what they are going to do. I have a friend that is going through the same identical thing. I really don't beleive it would be any different for you if you were married.

but why the hard time?? we make that relationship strong it is publicly known by family and friends alike we are officially engaged, announced in local newspapers!!!!!

why so bad a hard time?? What does age have to do with all of this numbers are just what they are we are two

people joined together in love and in our belief in each other with hopes and dreams and a life!! We're humans

with a soul heart and a mind to think and know what we want We present our case to the Embassy with all the right

things done legally with everything they need to see and we waited on this day for 10 months to get a blue sheet????

of rejection????? with Denial???? and revocation???

I hear your solution I hear your other option you gave us,

but its still not right how they handle things it seems like our lives are in their hands????

You got married on Sept.6,2010 and here its December 1st. and you have to wait on them to fix that even being married??

WOW

Yes I feel your pain too

I agree it wouldn't be any different

best wishes to you and yours

You will probably be given the opportunity to respond or to give them whatever proof they need before it is denied. I have spoken to another girl in the same situation I am. Her husband had his interview in Jamaica 3 weeks after my husband did. The interview went well with no problems. He wasn't given a denial slip but was told the paperwork was being sent back to USCIS for further review. They have 28 years age difference between them also. I also spoke with a girl who filed K-1 for her fiance in Columbia. Same thing with her case, paperwork was sent back to USCIS. She had to go to Columbia for a second interview and then he was approved. The best advice I can give you is to be patient. Make sure you have all your paperwork in order so whatever they request you will have. Good luck...
