Civil surgeon wants to do full physical

Hi,

My understanding of the i-693 is that the overseas medical, in this case performed by St Lukes in the Philippines, is good for one year. So there is no need for a repeat physical from a civil surgeon. Is this true?

One of the civil surgeons in my area stated that he had to do a new physical since that is what his endoursement of the i-693 would be baseed on.

Has anyone else gotten the civil surgeon run around?

it's still true, unless the civil surgeon sees a reason to redo it (but not the reason he gave you).

Many many many (x 100000) people have got the CS run-around.

If your shots are up-to-date don't waste your time with a CS. just send a copy of the DS-3025 (immunisation sheet) from your K1 medial and you should be fine.

They might RFE you but it's not the end of the world. Many people have NOT been RFE'd doing it this way. Some people have been RFE'd even after seeing a CS for the transcription because USCIS lost their medical. Better not to waste the money until you're sure you need to.

we spent alot of time to see civil surgeon and get paperwork done and became frustrated so we sent in all paperwork from physicall she just had and shots and we were approved ,,never asked for drs physical here in us ,,good luck
