Hello FOlks!!!

I sent in my AOS packet along with I-130, I-765 in September and I received notice of action on the 14th of October. I later received my biometrics notice for the 9th of november and I have heard nothing after that. I hear after Biometrics an EAD card is meant to arrive in the mail in 2-3 weeks but I have received nothing.my case number starts with MSC and I cannot check my status online. Its going to 2 months since i filed now and I have made no significant progress. A friend of mine filed in October and already has his EAD and interview coming up next month. Is my case normal ??? I am really frustrated right now!

It needs patience... My biometrics were before yours, and it took them 3 weeks to send me a RFE - no EAD yet either. You should be able to check your case staus online, try again.

All done ;-)

You just wait. That is all you can do at this point. You're still within normal processing times, so infopass probably wouldn't do you any good. EAD and AP usually arrive within 90 days from when USCIS received your application, which was October 14th. Once you get past mid-January, you can start contacting USCIS regarding the EAD if it still hasn't arrived, but until then you just have to sit tight and try to be patient. Your application has processed totally normally up to now - you got your NOA and had your biometrics taken. The EAD will arrive eventually, and after that you'll just have to wait for the interview letter. The USCIS website system is not the most reliable thing in the world, so I wouldn't worry about not being able to check the status online. You can try to call USCIS about that, but I doubt they'll be of much help unfortunately..

Patience is the name of the game.

Thanks buddy! I have tried checking the case status online but it says my receipt number is invalid. I called USCIS and they had to transfer me to check the status which was pending as at last week. Also I never received a NOA for my I-765. I received for my I-130 & I485 though.

Thanks a lot, but do you think not receiving a notice of action for I765 is an issue?

As others have said, you need to have patience. You cannot go by any one else's timelines. We are all different. One part will go faster, another slower. Just hang in there.

If you haven't received the NOA for the EAD I would call USCIS. If the person you speak to cannot tell you why you didn't receive the NOA, ask to speak to a tier 2 person (an actual IO) who should be able to tell you if your applicatiOn was received and notice sent.
