Hello VJ´s!!

I'm wondering if the status of ya´ll on the USCIS page has been updated or is stopped just like my status.

Since we started our process and received our NOA1 never had the status changed.

Is this normal, or do you advise me to call USCIS and ask what happens?

Our Visa Journey:

USCIS:

08/01/2011 - Mailed I-130

08/04/2011 - Received NOA1

08/12/2011 - Mailed I-129F

08/16/2011 - Received NOA1

01/27/2012 - Received NOA2 I-130 & I-129F

NVC:

01/31/2012 - K-3 changed for IR-1

01/31/2012 - Received NVC case number (MDD)

02/01/2012 - Received IIN (invoice identification number)

02/02/2012 - Received AOS and IV fee bill

02/03/2012 - AOS and IV PAID

02/10/2012 - Mailed IV Package to my husband in US

02/14/2012 - IV package arrive to my husband in US

02/15/2012 - My husband mailed AOS and IV Package to the attorney

02/17/2012 - Attorney get the package

02/21/2012 - Attorney sent the package to NVC

02/24/2012 - RFE: NVC send back a checklist about information missing or incomplete :(

02/27/2012 - Sent the missing information to NVC

03/07/2012 - CASE COMPLETED!!! Yayy finally ;)

04/24/2012 - INTERVIEW!!!!

APPROVED!!!!!!

It looks like it's still early yet for anything to have happened.

Your timeline shows you sent off your I-130 on August 1st and it takes about

5 months

2011-12-09 Response Received for Exepedite Request

Two things yeah it takes some time to get the status to change for the approval or decision if they are updating it..

We NEVER had ours updated to even SHOW we had submitted anything and so we called and asked why we couldn't view it and the rep told us that sometimes they get the updates to the system but their first priority is to complete the cases not update the system for public view so that said... it could be yours is being worked on but just may never know due to the fact they feel working on the cases is more important than updating the online viewing system.

Ours FINALLY showed the day they approved our petition.. before that we were always getting a message that our case can't be found.

03/24/2011 i 130 approved!!!
NVC JOURNEY
03/30/2011 NVC received case-04/07/2011 NVC Case Number Assigned
05/03/2011 CASE COMPLETE- In Que for INTERVIEW!!-05/17/2011 Received interview letter and info via email
EMBASSY JOURNEY
05/20/2011 Medical Appt/passed
06/15/2011 Interview result AP
06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

We had the same experience as EAbas. No online status until approved. It didn't stop me from checking constantly though. :) Lol. 5 months seems to be about the average. Good luck to you!

I understand the timeline but how did you receive a touch in only 1 month? I haven´t received a touch in 3 months...
