No, nothing No NO2 I'm scared of retro.

You still haven't been approved? Did you contact your senator yet?

I don't think we have to worry about retrogression just yet. However, there is a possibility that if the VSC doesn't start processing F2A cases soon, after January 2011 PDs have received their visas, the Visa Office will not have enough documentarily qualified cases and we might start seeing faster PD movement. This would be great news for all 2011 CSC filers who have a completed case. Of course, once the VSC filers eventually catch up, the cut-off dates might retrogress. Let's see, the above is just a theory. In any case, I hope the VSC is aware of the current Visa Bulletin movements and is planning to get back to processing F2A cases soon.

As for me, still no NOA2...

CSC's processing time currently is 1 year 4 months....this is unprecedented I believe. No on is getting approved and I stopped even looking at it. It will take another 1 year at least before I become current...and when will the CSC send out that NOA2....big question mark.

NVC case number: 24 June 2013

17 Dec 2011: I-130 sent

21 Dec 2011: NOA1

16 May 2013: NOA2

24 Jun 2013: NVC case number received

25 Jun 2013: DS-3032 sent

27 Jun 2013: AOS bill received and paid

xx Jul 2013: AOS package sent

09 Jul 2013: DS-3032 accepted

11 Jul 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 Jul 2013: IV package sent

11 Oct 2013: Case completed

28 Oct 2013: Interview appointment received

17 Dec 2013: F2A visa interview

It sounds like your petition has been pulled out of the pile and you are getting approved. Keep us posted if you get your NOA2 in the post in the coming days!

I don't understand, why could be your PD is getting approved, while others who has PD early than u still remain unknown? is VSC doing scramble application?

Athena, your PD and my PD is even earlier than fjoal PD's, what do u think about this?

My PD is Aug 29,2011

are u applying for F2a I-130 spouse of LPR? or spouse of USC?
