If Visa Interview Appointment is at 6:30am. What time should we arrive?

Our interview is on November 23, 2011 at 6:30am. What time should we arrive at the gate? I don't want to arrive Filipino time lol, but I also don't want to go there really early and wait hours outside.

Better wait than be late. It is once time interview unless you will have another schedule if they put you on 221(g). What do you think?

I got there 1 & 1/2 hour prior to with a long queue of people in line.

For some reason people like to wait on line in the Philippines. There's no need to arrive extra early for your interview, after all you have an appointment. Half an hour early is plenty. If need be you can tell the guards what time your appointment is and they will move you up if necessary.

We went there 6:15 am and the queue is really long but as soon as they started to allow people go inside the embassy it was quick. It was the waiting of my daughter's number to be called that took a long time. The number calling was already random. What I am trying to say is that there is very little advantage of going to the embassy very early.

There is an appointment at xx:xx time but at the same time several people have the same appointment time. Of course, people want to be done ASAP than wait longer. Been there, done that.

I live far from where the embassy was..and i don't want to get surprises..like emergency things along the way that needs to be fixed. so for me 2 hours earlier wasn't that bad. It allowed me to sit down and stay calm...talk to other applicants and recheck what you my need. Well, everyone of us has its style and preferences. Some people is ok being late while others its not good luck!

on my interview date last oct.27 my appointment schedule was 6:45am but then i arrived there with my kidz and cousin at exactly 5:30am,I was surprised there were many people that time that alreadt fall in line.

My wife had her interview at 6:30am as per her plan she wanted to be there Numero Uno! So, she was there exactly 3:38am two days ago... and was already the 10th person to arrive but she was Number 3 in the IR-visa category. So, you want to arrive american time say, "5am" and be at the very end of the line? Perhaps not unless you want to eat lunch at 3pm lol... jk (first in - first out!!!) Just make sure you have all your documents ready, including payments/receipts fees from the IV.

We'll probably get their early like 4:30am, we just want to get this whole visa process over and done with, so we can finally have a restful night sleep and actually enjoy my time with her (I'll be attending the interview with her).
