Yay! My biometrics is same day as you, but Detroit. So your case can be transferred BEFORE the biometrics appointment? Did you get notification that your case was transferred or did you just read it by checking on the USCIS site? Still trying to get the hang of this. :):star:

i got a text and an email, but without the address, and today there was a letter in the mail stating that the case was going to the CSC

We tried doing a walk in last thursday for the biometrics office we were turned away due to they were under staffed.

I went for my biometrics this morning for the scheduled appt. at 11 a.m., in Detroit. It was a nice facility and everyone was nice, I only waited about 15 minutes and was in out by 10 after 11. Photo, fingerprints, and a short form to fill out when you get there, just height, weight, colour of eyes, etc.

Went for biometrics in Cincinnati this morning, was half an hour early but that wasn't a problem. In and out in 10 minutes and the woman was very friendly :)

Well.....I called USCIS and got to talk to a very nice lady...needless to say that I was so nervous and had her to repeat several times what she was saying...oh gosh,I am having trouble talking over the phone,still..:))...anyway she was super nice.She said they will contact me within 16 days regarding my biometrics appt,and if I still don't get anything after the 16 days to call back....whew...hopefully will get something soon...

Okay so we filed the I 485 package with the travel and work as well on 1 November it was received. I am in the military went through the Seattle office to have it expedited. We received bio letter appoint for the 12 of December.

On the 23 of November we walked into the office and they were awesome helped us out. I am now currently deployed and my ASAWA is extremely home sick. I am trying to get a hold of the USCIS but now they will not talk with me only her.

On the 28th I received an email notice for RFI for the I 485. Does anyone have any idea what this might be and if so how long it would take?

Also do we have to wait for the entire package to be completed before we will get her I131 so that she can travel home for the duration of my deployment?

It was a sudden deployment and unexpected. and now she wants to go home upset at the process. What I am afraid of is if she goes we have to start an entire process over from the Philippines when I get back home.

Any thoughts and words are greatly appreciated.
