We sent the petition on Nov 9, via express mail, from France, and I don't yet have a confirmation that it was delivered. Can't wait to receive the NOA1 e-mail!

My petition has been transferred to California service center. Do you know any information regarding california service center processing time?

Yes I do have a tracking number, and I know the package arrived in the USA last Thursday, but there hasn't been any updates yet. Since we sent it through a French courier company, I think updates made by their partner in the US show up with a delay, plus Friday was a Federal Holiday. So I'm confident we'll get a confirmation soonish! :)

Well, CSC seems to be processing applications slower than VSC (Vermont) these days, but the situation changes throughout the year! Most people here on VJ report being transfered to CSC.

Rujby, I just read about your adventures with USPS delivering the package to a wrong place, I pray this isn't gonna happen to me too! I'm happy to see they sorted it out eventually.

Well as a matter of fact it has not been delivered to another location. the zip code where the package should be delivered was 60680 and i saw it was delievered to 60699. This zip code was new to me and immigration do not tell us to send it there. I investigate to determine which location the zip code was and found out a number. The number i called was chicago lockbox and they told me not to worry for 60699 is the building and my paper was in currently in USCIS hand...lol

Hi, guys :)NOA 1 received today via e-mail and text message, yay! It seems that our petition will be processed by CSC (hmmm....I've read that California is slowing down :( correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not sure based on what criteria they transfer the petitions to be processed to CSC or VSC...anyway, I just wanted to let you know

I see that CSC processing time for I-130 is 5 months, wow it will be a long wait. My wife just called USCIS and requested for an expedite, they took lot of informarion from her and was informed that she will be notified of a final decision in 7 days

I see that CSC processing time for I-130 is 5 months, wow it will be a long wait. My wife just called USCIS and requested for an expedite, they took lot of informarion from her and was informed that she will be notified of a final decision in 7 days

yes, 5 months is a long time but it'll pass ;) good luck with your expedite

Guys, I still have no update about my package being delivered or not... I called the courier company and they're gonna make a research but they can't tell me where the shipment is right now. C'mon, I paid like 100$ for this to be delivered from France in 48hours!!! :angry:

I really really hope it isn't lost. For peace of mind. Can you cross your fingers for me??

I don't think our case qualifies for an expedite... Noone is sick, I have a job, no kids, no humanitarian hazard... Colin is a scientist but could that count? He's going back to the States to start a new job in a world class research institute.
