I-130 Touched while at NVC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi;

This has just made me so much worried. I logged in to my account and saw that the I-130 was touched today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the meassage still says "this case has been approved..............................".

I wanna know what this may be? has anyone else tried to login and saw a touch after so many days? The case was approved on July 31st, and is at NVC now where DS3032 has been issued as well.

So what is it???????? please tell me if any one else has had same experience. Especially those who were transfered from VSC to CSC for I-130.

were u also transfered from Vermont to California? May be they are just returning approved petitions to their original service centers?

On your timeline I see your case has already received a case number from NVC, and they have your file, my guess is they received something from you or are generating forms for you. Your case is no longer with the centers so when it is touched it is at NVC.

02/28/06 I130 sent to VSC

03/10/06 NOA 1

06/12/06 Touch (address change)

09/12/06 NOA 2

I-129f Process:

07/23/06 I-129f sent to Chicago

07/31/06 NOA-1

08/16/06 Touch

NVC Process:

Hurry up pls!!!!

09/25/06 DS 3032- Gen

09/26/06 DS 3032 email sent and I-864 fee mailed

09/27/06 DS 3032 accepted

09/28/06 I-864 fee is rec'd by SL

10/03/06 NVC genarates I-864

My case was touched too, we already have a case # and received the $70 bill and choice of agent..... :unsure:

ae4ever, I too was touched on Sept. 23, after being approved Aug. 15. We're a Vermont to Cali transfer. A touch may mean they did something clerical that doesn't affect the approval. I wouldn't worry, nor try to find any logic in this!

This is why I am in love with VJ. I am truly, absolutely, very, very glad for this site. If this site wasn't here, we would have just gone insane trying to figure out, and worrying about reasons for this unusual touch.
