Help !! videos on VJ comments!!

:help: Does anyone know how to block those irritating Videos and Pictures that people put on their comments?:bonk:

They suck the life out my Computer's RAM and cause it to slow down ? Thanks a bunch.

There is no way to block videos on VJ exclusively. At least, no easy way. If you turn off Flash in your browser, I believe you will no longer see any videos posted in VJ, but the same will be true for any other site that uses flash to display videos. If your computer is so under-powered that it is bogged down simply loading the player, than I would agree with the other posters: get a computer that is less than 10 years old.

There really is no reason to block photos. Really.

If you are insistent on blocking photos and videos, you can simply download and install the Lynx browser. Note that Lynx was originally used in the early '90s, as its a console (text-only) browser.

Go to settings in the upper right corner then -> forums -> board settings

Wow, I can't believe I missed that one. That will handle removal of images nicely. You'll still have to disable flash to prevent video players from loading though.
