2010 26,433

2009 4,267

but in 2011 she came to Lebanon and w get married in august , so the tax return for 2011 is much less than 18,000$

So do we need a joint sponsor in such situation ?

Yes you do. She is not making consistantly above the poverty guidelines so it will be a red flag. Find a co-sponsor.

Is she currently working? If not, you definitely need a co-sponsor.

If she is working now at a job that makes over the poverty line, and can document this with paystubs and employer's letter, you shouldn't need a co-sponsor, but some embassies don't like very new jobs,m so if it's been less than 3 months or so by interview time, might be best to get a co-sponsor anyway.

This is plenty. Just make sure the embassy allows the use of co-sponsor.

Your friend needs to be earning an income currently in order to be a viable sponsor. (Similar to your spouse's circumstances) Past year's earnings are not enough.

Current (annualized) 2011 income is what is measured.

Then he will be ok.

Annualized means take the salary rate and calculate it for the entire year. To prove the current salary amount include a letter from his employer and a few recent paystubs.
