Hi VJ Team-

Anyone else out there an October filer?

Timeline:

10/18- Express mailed I-130, I-485 & I-765 to Chicago address

10/19- Received delivery notice from USPS to Chicago lockbox

10/24- Received text message and email notification of application arrival from USCIS with receipt #'s for all three applications from MSC (National Benefits Center).

10/27- Received hard copy letters on the mail of our NOAs for all three applications (dated 10/25)

10/27- Received biometrics appointment letter re: I-485 & I-765 for 11/22

11/22- Completed biometrics appointment

12/9 - Received initial Interview notice for I-485

12/16- Received e-mail that EAD card is in production!

12/21 -Received second email that EAD is in production & status is now in "post decision activity"

12/22- Received second email notice of approval being mailed on this date

12/24- Received EAD on the mail!

Got the EAD card production email last night.

Hi there. I just sent out the AOS ( I-130, I-485, I-765) package today October 18th via USPS Express Mail to P.O. Box address. I was reading about where to send it, and was so many mixed reviews. Still not sure if I did right. Any words of reassurance will be appreciated :)

09/04/2011- got married

10/18/2011(day 0)- mailed AOS package to Chicago Lock box via USPS Express

10/19/2011(day 1)- packaged delivered

10/21/2011(day 3) - received email notification

10/24/2011(day 5)- Checks Cashed ($1490)

10/25/2011(day 6)- Hard Copy of NOA1 ( I-130,I-485,I-765)

10/29/2011(day 10)-Biometrics letter for 11/10/2011 11.00 a.m

11/01/2011----------Got my Drivers License with NOA1 ( for 1 year) :)

11/10/2011(day 23)-Biometrics done for I-765/I-485

12/16/2011- EAD production notice

12/21 & 12/22 - again EAD production/approval notice ( I guess it's mailed out)

12/24/2011- EAD card in hand

02/22/2012- Update on USCIC.com- interview scheduled for March 26th

Express mail should go the address labeled as Courier and Express Mail deliveries. Not the P.O. box...

If you sent it USPS Express Mail to the PO Box, you'll be fine. Many people have done it (myself included) and they will drop it off there. The tracking info will likely say "No recipient available" when it's delivered, but rest assured that USCIS will pick it up later that day. USPS holds it for them.

10/03/11 Mailed package AOS from VWP 4 years overstay (i-485,i-130,i-765, i-864 and i-693) to the Chicago lockbox

10/06/11 Delivered to USCIS

10/07/11 Checks cashed 1490$ from personal bank account

10/10/11 Received NOA's for i-130, i-765 and i-485

10/15/11 Biometrics appt received dated for 11/04/11

11/04/11 Biometrics successful!! took about 10 mins

12/01/11 EAD Approved!!! (in 58 days)

12/08/11 EAD received.

12/12/11 Applied for a Social Security card/number.

12/16/11 Received a Social security card/number.

12/22/11 Interview notice received for Jan 23 2012.

01/23/12 Interview in Atlanta..APPROVED on the spot!

02/02/12 Green card received in the mail! DONE! :D

I left the post office with some anxiety though relief of finally sending things off! I sent it overnight express USPS mail to the "express/courier" mail address. Should be there today! Thank you for the reassurance some of us are giving us that this was right.

Now the waiting begins, hopeful that I didn't miss anything in the paper work but hoping that the worst that can happen is for them to ask for what is missing.

Good luck everyone! I as well will keep my timeline as updated as possible for us to share.

Four business days after USPS notification got official USCiS email and text message of application acceptance. Now waiting for letter in the mail but have a receipt number to track apparently once we get the paper letter.

We did cashier checks so I'm not sure if they were cashed. But the acceptance receipt alone gave me some piece of mind.

Timeline:

Congratulations! I'm Soooo can;t wait to get my Biometric letter :(

Can you update your timeline, please? Seems like we sent out applications at the same time. I just got NOAs hard copies , but no biometrics yes :( Also I'm unable to track my case online , still shows " can't find ...blah, blah, blah".

You should be able to track it with your receipt number especially after getting your NOA hard copy letter.

My timeline so far...

USPS delivery notice 10/20

USCIS text message and email of application receipt 10/24

NOA letter and biometrics appointment (separate envelopes) 10/27

Biometrics appointment 11/22

I've read to give up to a month before calling but if you got a receipt number you should be able to track your case online and it should at least say that the application has been received. Give it a few more days, I'm sure it will be in your mailbox before you know!
