Hello everyone! Im working on getting a military expedite due to an up coming deployment. The last thing I need is a letter from my commanding officer stating that Im going to deploy. Just curious if you can send me a copy of yours so that I can get an idea of what the letter will contain before I route it up my chain of command. Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

A1C Mathias

How is deployment an emergency?

It is an emergency because military members have to leave everything in their life behind, on a short time notice, to go fight and maybe die for your freedom. So the least you can do is to show some sympathy instead of being so ungrateful questioning their eligibility.:bonk:

I am being ungrateful? That doesn't make sense. Also, most applications will not be processed faster due to military deployment. Perhaps an EAD if they can show financial need despite the military member's salary. A I-485 perhaps, since if it is marriage based the spouse would have to be there. However, USCIS will allow someone to keep renewing their EAD instead of expediting a case like that. Summary: Just because you're in the military and you're deploying, doesn't mean uscis will always approve an expedite. :bonk:

Yeah I would just call the hotline. There's a reason for the section dedicated to handle military issues, you've earned it-use it.

Good luck and thanks for your service.

I'm sad to say that you don't know what you're talking about. Here ..Educate yourself:

General Information

Q. What are the criteria to have an application or petition expedited for military personnel?

A. USCIS reviews all expedite requests on a case-by-case basis. Some examples of situations that may qualify for expedited processing include:
