Hi Everyone!

Just as I started getting panic attack because I don't have the evidence of selective service registration.

But then I realized their website says "all male U.S. citizens, and male aliens living in the U.S".

So this means I, as a woman don't need to present the evidence of selective service, correct?

Silly question but I just wanted to double check.

Thanks!

Somehow, the women activist pushing hard for the ERA, the Equal Rights Amendment, either forgot or didn't want to push for their rights to register for Selective Service. Pushed for everything else, even to hold combat positions in our military.

As an employer, could be no sexual discrimination, the ERA was constantly on my back showing equality between men and women employees. But with women, sexual harassment was a very key issue, wouldn't even dare tell a woman employee, she looked nice, could be misconstrued as sexual harassment. But somehow, having the right to register for Selective Service was completely overlooked. Ha, if I was a woman, would be screaming for my rights to register for Selective Service.

But sexual discrimination is only one issue, a really key issue with Selective Service is age discrimination that affects everyone. But our military is only after young kids that aren't old enough to think for themselves that can be blindly molded to follow even the most ridiculous of orders.

With Selective Service have both sexual and age discrimination. And yes, as a woman, you do not have to register. Not fair.
