If some of you could please proofread my cover letter to ensure that the grammar is proper and correct. And to also make sure that my check list is in a good sequential order. And if you feel that I could remove or add an item, please let me know all feedback :) Thanks in advance. Ryan

Your letter looks good.

Since you are submitting your birth certificate, you do not need to submit all pages of your passport. For passport pages, just submit the pages that have the entry stamps and visas (if you required a visa to enter Indonesia) with your airline tickets and itineraries.

The form G-1145 should be the very first page.

Thank you for your reply :)

Would it hurt if I still decided to include my passport? I did read on the guide to submit "ALL" pages of the passport, hence why I did make the extra copies of even the blank and instructional pages.

Okay, I will move the G-1145 to the near top. I just feel the money order and cover letter should be at the very top.

The only reason you would submit all pages of your passport is to prove your US Citizenship. Submitting your birth certificate proves your citizenship, making submitting all pages of your passport unnecessary.

I hear you. I may prefer to submit my passport instead because it contains 2 Indonesian Tourist Visa stamps in the pages. This would further help with my evidence of my trips there. Would you agree?

You might be planning to staple some of your documents and/or add tabs and/or put them in fancy binders--DON'T !!

USCIS disassembles everything and scans every page, throwing your tabs and fancy binders right into the trash, so anything you do to slow them down can cause errors. When you get to NVC stage, they specifically ask for things to be stapled, but not here--just use clips.

I will be using small paper clips for certain multiple pages of documents and one big binder clip for the entire pile. Thank you magical :)

I would still include ALL pages of the passport because that is what the directions ask for, better to take five extra minutes copying your passport as indicated than waste a week or more to respond to a stupid RFE. As we know uscis has given rfe's for crazier things...save yourself the worry:-)

Yes, I will be including ALL the pages.

So really, the G-1145 form should be at the VERY TOP of everything?

Yes...although the order of the rest of the package doesn't matter a bit--they will disassemble, scan, and reassemble in the order they like. You won't even recognize all your hard work when you it in pieces at the interview !! But being organized up front is important so you don't leave anything out of the package.
