Application Number on Cashed Check?

DHS cashed my check for I-129F. I can see the image online with my bank, but I cannot discern the application number that some people talk about.

I have a 13 digit alpha-numeric string that starts with "ACC" and has a dash in it (which is not counted as one of the 13 digits). I've also got a number that looks to be 7 or 8 digits, all numeric, starting with "70".

The problem is the banks have stamped stuff all over the back of the check as well and that covers some information that I think is from USCIS/DHS.

Can somebody tell me what to look for? And is the number on the back of the check something I can use to reference my case on USCIS site?

Assuming your application was transferred to California and most of the ones going through Texas still are, your number would start with WAC. I'm not sure what the prefix is for the Texas center, though I'm sure someone else in this forum will enlighten you.

That looks like the number. The banks scan those checks so fast the resolution is super crappy and the numbers stamped by the service centers are very faint and small to start with. If you can get a paper copy of the check that would work. Otherwise wait for the NOA1.

Claudeth's number started with WAC and then XX-XXX-XXXXX The first was 05 and the 100 so just guessing that might mean 2005 and the 100th day which would be just about the date her petition was approved. I am not sure what Texas would start with. You can try to see if the number, ACC included, on the back of the check is registered on the USCIS web site

If it went to CSC it should have a WAC in front of it....I agree about getting a paper copy if you can't quite read it on the website. I actually saved the image and zoomed in on my computer to see mine.

If it went to CSC it should have a WAC in front of it....

I don't see anythign with WAC ... only ACC. Does anybody know which center that is for? What are the letters for Texas?

I have no idea! It's been so long since anyone has gotten an NOA1 actually from Texas as well....but I wouldn't think it would be so similar (ACC and WAC).

Thanks! I guess two of them are really similar then.....but still no ACC. I tried to look up the picture of my check but my bank statement online doesn't go back far enough.
