Greetings!

I sent our (me and my kids) DS230 forms and all the necessary documents last August 02

in our local post office (EMS EXPRESS and NVC received it last August 15 (Yah! That long :angry: )

I've told my husband to call NVC after 20 days to follow up then he made a call last Sept 06 (after 22 days)

The operator / nvc rep told my husband that there is no NOTE attach to our docs or an RFE (after my husband asks if there's missing docs that we need to resend).

He/ She told my husband to call again on the second week of September for the interview schedule or just wait for an email.

It's Sept. 16 here and until now I didn't receive any email coming from NVC :( .

I'm kinda feel down.... But I know Jesus is my strength and I believed he will hear my prayers (L) (L) (L)

I want to edit my post but it seems I'm run out of time :D

I want to ask what is the lead time for NVC to send interview appointment via email???

They said that NVC sent this letter every second week of the month.

But my brother in law's wife received her letter July 02 (First week).

Ohhh It's much better for me to stopped being paranoid and be patient like you said RICARDO4EVA2.

Don't feel down..everyone here had to go through this process too. It's stressful to wait but it's worth it when you are all together again. During our K1 process my fiance and now my husband always chat on skype everyday and sometimes sleep there together too!

Great things come to those who wait :yes: Just be patient

AOS

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**

It's Sept. 16 here and until now I didn't receive any email coming from NVC

At the time you wrote this it is only the night of the 15th for the NVC (Thursday night) so there is still another day.

I hope and pray that we will spend our Christmas together again.

Is it true that after they received the DS230 forms, they will email me after 90 days?

3 months :blink: Someone told me that. I wish it's not true. I don't want to wait that long :crying:

I don't think so I think it can take up to that long but most of the time it doesn't

My husband talked to NVC rep again, we have to call again next month for

November interview because October is already full. :(

It's kinda sad for me but I feel much better now because at least we didn't get any RFE :)
