I read somewhere that I need 3 years worth of tax transcripts to send along with I-134 is that true? Or is recent pay stubs, w-2's and letter from employer enough?

W2 is nothing without the tax return. You need the full tax return including the W2 or you need to get tax transcripts.

According to the state department for the I-134 is neccesary the W2´s, bank deposits, current balance and some paystubs. I you are selfemployed then the tax transcripts. But for AOS you will need the tax transcripts... it would be good for you to confirm this communicating with the US consulate in your country
