On the London embassy's 156K form it says you need to attach Evidence of Financial Support and Evidence of Engagement but it doesnt give any type of description of what theyre looking for as 'evidence.' Also I thought for a K-1 Fiance visa you didnt have to provide any financial information. Any body have any experience with a fiance from the UK going through this process?

You do not send financial evidence with the I-129F petition, but the USC fiance(e) needs to show they can support you when you apply for the visa at your local consulate. You will need the I-134 from the USC. Read the guides here on VJ, and check out the instructions from your consulate's website.

You will need to show financial support. As Jay Kay mentioned, you'll have your USC fill out the I-134. Supply past tax transcripts and a letter from the employer/recent paystubs.

With regard to London, no need to send evidence or proof of ongoing relationship. London is super easy.

If you're like me - and a paranoid freak - we brought stuff to the interview, anyway. If you read past reviews of London, it's not requested.

All the best!

Nothing is attached to the I-156K for London. That's a worldwide form but each consulate has their preferred way of doing the visa business. Bring documents to the interview as listed here. http://london.usembassy.gov/interview_documents.html

I-134 as explained by Kirstin is correct for showing support. Everything else on the list for the interview is about the Brit.

Thanks so much for all of your replies! Im still a little confused about the I-134. For the embassy K-1 Visa interview, do we need to have that submitted or in hand? Or do we need it after we get married and apply for an Adjustment of Status?

You thought wrong. Since the 156K form is involved you are at the interview stage. Know that the 134 firm from the petitioner is required. Follow the Guides and follow the Example Forms.
