Hi tinkerbell2,

Welcome to Visa Journey. I have moved your topic from the Politics & Religion forum to the 'Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America" forum as this appears to be the correct place for your question. You are sponsoring your family to come to the US which is an IR-5 visa and in this forum people will be able to answer your questions.

If you are not a US citizen but still a green card holder, let me know (you can answer here) and I can move your question to another forum - one for Green card holders who are sponsoring family members to come to the US. :)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

If the CO is asking for joint sponsor then that is what you need to do. If you have any assets you can also include that but if its simply a joint sponsor then you should find one. any other family members in US that can help sponsor that are LPR or citizens/ Friends? anybody you can think of as long as they fit the criteria of joint sponsor then you should send that in and expect a wait of review time .....
