Clothing for Interview

What does one wear to the visa interview? I'm assuming just casual attire.

Dressed as though I was attending a job interview.

Dress in a way that makes you feel competent, prepared, and confident.

Most people here, by virtue of simply taking the process seriously, will tend towards, as was said above, "job-interview" level dress, but in their review, they report other applicants at all levels of dress.

There is probably no strong direct correlation between dress levels and success, but there is a definite correlation between confidence level and success, and another definite correlation between confidence level and dress. If you're more confident you'll feel better about the whole thing, regardless of any other factor. So dress as to promote your own confidence.

I dressed as if I was going out to a club... They know why you are there....The clothing you wear will not do a thing for your case..The photo of my wife is what she wore to the interview...

just dress well cos the way u dress is the way u will be addressed, best of luck.

Interview is kind of a formal occasion and you should dress accordingly. Dressed as if you were going out dancing to a night club will not get your case denied, but it is just not appropriate. Wear whatever you feel confident in but it shouldn't be too casual or too formal.
