"section 221(g) which prohibits the issuance of visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto.the following remarks apply in your case.*

wedding or marriage certificate

when i read this letter i said that i already have tax returns of 2010 of my husband..i showed her she said ok but v need original marriage certificate in native language i.e is urdu.then she kept my passport and also gave me back my original documents which were submitted in nvc.

now i am worried what will be the future process??as soon as i will submit the original marriage certificate in urdu they will issue me visa or is there chance they can put ne in Administration Processing?in thje paper they gave me there was nothing written about AP nothing else just about missing documents.please help me i m really worried..waiting for ur replies.thanks

There's no one who can say that you will/will not be placed in AP.. This is done usually after Approval. Also since you will now submit new evidence they are likely to have a review period.

need not to worry , you just have to submit the documents. Back 2009 when i was interviewed at Manila. The consul also gave me blue paper and some more documents needed it took me 2 weeks to submit ,then after 1 week i got my visa through courier. What happen to you was AP so thats it just comply it all depends on you the longer for you to secure documents the longer you wait.

Be happy almost there!!!

Just want to know Was she wrote in the blue paper in very end said that you need the above documents? or she thick mark on 221(g) and wrote the requesting documents.

I am guessing from my wife's recent interview: My wife also has an blue sheet but did not thick mark on 221(g), at the very end consulate wrote that she will be calling when embassy will able to issue visa. Fortunately, she had called from embassy after week later for visa pick up!!

If it is thik mark on 221(g), even you submit the requested documents later, you have to wait for AP to be completed. As recent Islamabad embassy review 8 out of 10 get AP.:bonk:

Sorry I feel bad for Pakistani's spouse specially women has to go through AP process.

yes she marked 221(g) and wrote about these documents under it..:(there was nothing about AP in that letter..just they demanded missing documents..now i know its just a waiting game:(..lets c wat happens.m hoping for the best.

221(g) means Administrative processing/Administrative review. What is my understanding, US embassy put you on AP plus RFE( Requesting for evidence).

Send the required documents as soon as possible, you might get luck in the mean time your may be clearance from state department and giving you visa soon they have reviewed your file.

All the best of luck!!!

Just fyi... We also had to submit another document proving my household size so we sent the apt lease showing who lives in the apt along with antoher letter from an attorney saying we dont have to claim our 18 yr old son as a dependent. After we submitted it took about a week to get back to the CO even tho we used the AMEX to do it and it arrived a day later. Then it still took about 4 weeks to review... so it may take several more weeks for the review... we are pending namechecks now ... its been over two months and i just pray he comes home soon!!!!

Good luck to you and dont' worry even if it takes a few weeks im sure evthing else is fine.

Yeah I think it would be safe to say you are in ap... ap can also include a simple review and verification of the requested documents.... so it has various meanings... i pray you wont be stuck long in it...
