Hello folks. How is the port of entry handled? Do they give you choices of where your fiance' can enter the U.S. or do they choose one destination closest to your home? How does that work? I live close to Nashville, Tn. Thanks.

Your port of entry is the first place you land when entering the US. Where that city is will be up to you.

It doesnt matter...like stated above it is just the first US land you touch down on. My wife's POE was Guam and she did customs in Hawaii before getting to Anchorage. I know the paperwork asks what your POE will be, but it can change.

Please keep in mind, this is not necessarily true. There are a few places around the world in which you can do pre-clearance. An example: the airport in Montreal, Canada has pre-clearance, so you go through customs before even flying out to the US.
