Ok I think I am ready to send in the K-1 Visa app today.

Just a few quick questions.

How many Emails should I send?

How many months of phone bills?

How many pics?

How many of what things did others send for proof of relationship?

I had read where others send Tax forms but I did not see anything about that in the guides.

I have included the cover letter

The I-129f

The G325a and pics for both of us

The letter of intent to marry

The G-1145

Divorce decree

copies of BC and passport

10 emails,

most recent phone bill

copies of airline tickets

copies of hotel reservation emails.

10 pictures of us together.

Does anyone have any advice of anything I might be missing or good idea to do to keep from getting an RFE?

Tax returns and W2s are not needed till interview time when you have to send the I-134 and its supporting documents to your lady.

They want to see evidence that you have a relationship, not the second-by-second history of it that takes hours to wade through (or not, as they have specific things they HAVE to check for, and skim over the rest). Break up your evidence into monthly examples. Mix up the different types that you have and stick a post-it or something on top saying it's a sample of all the communication evidence you have. If you have summary information (I know Skype can give you a report of the date and duration and list it out for you, and that's perfect. USCIS don't particularly want to know what you discussed, just that you met in person and communicating, as a regular couple does.

Once you have your interview, build the file to take with information that you have built SINCE your application, to prove ongoing relationship and you should be fine.

Sounds like you have all your evidence under control. Hope you have a painless and speedy process. :)

did you copy the pages of the passport? They like seeing the stamps showing that the you were in the country and for how long

for approval of the k-1 up here you need to prove that you have met in person in the two past years and are intending on getting married so phone bills and emails are really necessary until the interview but you can send them now too if it makes you feel better :)

It sounds like you are all ready! I wish you the best and hope it is a speedy journey for you and yoursgood.gif

Hi! Dont forget the question 18 letter:

I-129F Supplement: Part B, Question 18, explanation of meeting in person.

There really isnt enough room on the I-129F to answer that question. Dont worry about the tax info now. Its for the next step. Also, Think about anything else that would prove you met, and prove relationship. Ring receipt, credit card statements that proved you with him, hotel receipts? Also have you ever sent gifts back and forth? The dhl, or postal slips would be proof of ongoing. I sent 3 months of phone bills. Its always better to be safe. I sent tons of evidence and was approved quickly.

Good Luck!

:)
