I sent a letter to the California Service Center asking them to expedite my case due to personal circumstances. Two days after they received my letter, my case was approved and I received a hard copy letter in the mail regarding my approval. Now, can I ask the NVC office to expedite my case for the same reasons the CSC did or will that letter be already transferred to the NVC office with my other documents, please?? Thank you!

I am not 100% sure but I think that you have to request expedite at all stages, uscis, nvc and consulate. Maybe someone who has gone through this can verify this is correct.

Good luck!

You have to request expedite at ALL stages. Nothing is carried over.

Go ahead and send that letter in as soon as you get your case number. I wonder if you can just e-mail to them too. That would sure make things speed up.

You will have 2 request an expedite at the nvc also. The letter from the uscis will not suffice for the nvc expedite. You can send the same letter 2 the nvc that u sent to the uscis. I know that the nvc wants more evidence for expedites. If u have all documents for the nvc just send them in. The nvc isn't all that long. We didn't save that much time when we expedited the nvc. Although I don't know how the nvc timeline is at this point. The worst that could happen at this point is them tell u no about the expedite. Good luck!
