Asalum Alikum :) Ramadan Kareem!Even though you can't add him to your bank account, you can add his name as the beneficiary if something should happen to you. Add him as beneficiary to life insurance at work or whatever you can find. Anything of proof from your trips to see him of course. We had LOTS of proof-even my kids stayed in Morocco without me with my husband and we had proof of that-the IO still gave him a hard time and was not pleasant at all. Casa is tough so you have to be creative with proof. Find anything you can put his name on, if you get a credit card you can add him as an authorized user and get his own card. If you can't get a credit card, walmart has those prepaid debit cards and you can open one of those for a couple dollars and add him to your account there and he'll get his own card-neither of those require items like the bank does. If you have cable or utility bills you can add his name to those too-I just asked that they put his name on the bills they send me and it wasn't hard to do. Letters and cards are only ok proof because those are easy to fake unfortunately. If I can think of something else that we used I will PM you. Since you are just now sending in your CR1 you will have plenty of time to get these things together. I wish you lots of good luck in this process.
