if you're gonna commit a crime (no matter the goodness of the intent), WHY'RE YOU TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT IT!!!

it's never okay to forge signatures, especially in the usa, but w/e it's your bzness, you shoulda just gone and done it w/o letting the whole world know (not saying you should do it, but w/e)

Every minute felt like an eternity time, clearly as if it had malicious intent, slowly ebbing away from me. I clenched my teeth, and keeping myself from crying was the only thing I could do…

No you can't get away with forging hers or anyone elses signature. Forgery is a serious offense and in addition to having your petition denied and a lifetime ban for her, you could be looking at a whole range of federal offenses including mail fraud (your petition would go through the mail). Remember. The forgery will follow your petition forever and any future document's signature that didn't match would open a whole can of worms. It could even be at her way down the road naturalization process or even beyond that. A couple who had been in the US for 25 + years recently got in to trouble because the hid the fact that they were married on their immigration forms. A few days is not so urgent to risk the consequences of getting caught. Express mail can get from the central US to western China in 5 days. I would imagine it is much faster from Japan.

I won't lie, I thought of ways to cut corners but man, the risk just ain't worth it, do it RIGHT. read the guides on here, read the instructions on every form, if it needs your fiance's signature, GET IT. You don't want to take chances on delaying things, or even getting yourself in trouble, especially if you got a youngun on the way. It' sucks that the gov't makes this a hardcopy pre-digital age process, but them's the grits, that's what we have to work with, we got no choice but to DO IT RIGHT! God Bless and good luck.

Do I have to wait for fiance to mail me her signed forms? Can I get away with forging her signature, completing her G325 myself? She is pregnant, so we are kind of in a hurry.

Thanks

:o

Forgery is a crime, so I am guessing you already know the answer is NO. You need to have her original signature on the G-325A and her letter of intent.

seriously?! think about your question realistically. u have two choices. #1 your idea to forge a signature & risk not seeing your fiance child for a loooong time. #2 be patient & wait for her to mail to authenticly signed document and see your fiance & child in due time.seems pretty cut & dried to me
