I was hoping for some information about the process fees. My question is where do I mail these forms to? I read something about Lockbox, but I cant locate the address on the .gov site now. Hummmmm Spent a hour or more now trying to find it.

My next question is, to bring my wife here, I must file the I-130 form, then Afadavit of supportand then? Do I also need to file the DS 230?

I found the fee for the I130 is 420.00 and the Affidavit of support is 88.00 Are there any other fees I should know about?

You can find all the mailing addresses' on the I-130 instruction packet here. http://www.uscis.gov.../i-130instr.pdf

Once you get the approval from USCIS for your I-130 then your worry about the other forms.

AOS Invoice is $88

DS-230 Invoice is $404

See the Instructions for I-130, pages 4-5.

I don't know enough about the rest to help. Someone else will.

Care,

Bill

I was reading the instruction sheet for the I-130 and it speaks of proof of relationship. On a sworn affidavit where people who attended the wedding vouce for the validity, do you have to have it notarized or is a simple signature with the address and birth place information sufficient? ( I am not sure exactly what they should say on this affidavit)

Does this sound like the proper way to word the affidavit? I here by swear and confirm the marriage of ???? and ??? on July 1st 2011. I attended the service and spent time with them after the wedding cerimony. They have 100's of facebook photos and speak to eachother everyday over the phone or other means of communication.

Thanks for the help, I have never done anything thing like this so want to do it right and I am nervous about mistakes so it makes me want to confirm things before I do them.

You should get sworn affidavits from persons that know you and your spouse well. The affidavit needs to include their full name, address, DOB and place of birth, his/her relationship to you and details as to how he/she knows about your marriage. They do not need to be a US Citizen. Don't forget to complete and sign the G-325A (for biographic information) - one is needed for each of you. You will also need to include a passport photo of yourself and your spouse.

View this website for sample affidavits relating to a bona fide marriage to assist you. I had my supporting affidavits notarized, although, I have seen people who didn't.

Hope that helps. Good luck!!
