Affidavit for bonafide marriage

Has anyone submitted an affidavit from a family member or friend to certify that your marriage is bonafide? What sort of text should it contain?

We did. From my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law. The affidavit should explain the relation of the person to you, how long they`ve known you as a couple and just describe your relationship in general, i.e. how you get along and stuff like that...

My uncle(Mom's brother) did affidavit for our parents marriage... and here is the sample i used

AFFIDAVIT OF MARRIAGE FOR

Your Dad’s full name AND Your Mom’s full name

I, xxxxxxxx (this will be the name of the person who signs the affidavit) solemnly sate and affirm as hereunder.

1. I presently reside at xxxxxx, Street name, Town/city – PINCODE/ZIP, Country.

2. I am a Citizen of xx Country.

3. I was born on xxxxx, 19xx at xxxTown, xx Country.

4. I am xxxxx’s (Your Dad’s or Mom’s) Uncle/ Aunt/ Sister/Brother (OR WHATEVER RELATIONSHIP)

hello everyone, i am reading a lot of materials on how to provide and info so as to determine my bonafide marriage, my situation is this, i am currently in the US with a visitors visa, im from Africa, i have been married to my husband for two years now, but we havent been able to apply for me because of different reasons, now i am here since May,we are trying to file finally with I-845 form for adjustment of status. my question is how can i give supplement proofs tht out marriage is true, we never had a wedding party simply because we couldn't afford it, i am unemployed and my husband takes care of me, so we dont have any joint bank accounts and all. All we have is our marriage certificate. Could you please give me suggestions?

IF YOUR MARRIAGE IS REAL HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT AND PUT YOUR NAME IN IT, THE INSURANCE OR LEASE....ECT..ALSO ASK FOR AFFIDAVIT OF RELATIONSHIP FROM FRIENDS, WHO WILL WRITE ABOUT YOUR REAL RELATIONSHIP WITH EACH OTHER...ITS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE IMMIGRATION THAT YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND HAVE MORE THAN JUST A MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE THAT JUST SEEMS TOO FAKE TO THEM..YOU CAN ALSO DO WITH PICTURES BUT THAT'S NOT ENOUGH EITHER..IT DOESNT COST ANYTHING TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT OR ADD YOU IN IT.
