Me and my fiancee completed our forms, but we have one last question. We do not understand very well the question number (18) Form I-129F.

Someone who has already completed this question and there is no error, please, answer me.

What we should do? Write a letter as we both met you in person here (In Brazil?

Or tell when we both met online?

And who should write it? Me or her? Both? What should we write?

This letter can be written on the computer then signed?

Thanks!

Keep it short and sweet. I wrote something like "We met online in (enter year) and met in person for the first time (enter date) in (location). There have been (enter number) of visits since."

It doesn't need to be a letter. There's a box to answer the question. If it doesn't fit in there, add a supplement sheet and simply write "See additional sheet" in the box.

If you want, include a separate sheet with list of dates of visits, but it's not necessary.

There is an example of how to do this? :)

The example form tells you what to do if your answer doesn't fit in the box. http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf

"(mark additional sheet as "I-129F Supplement: Part B, Question 18: Has your fiance(e) met and seen you in within the two-year period immediately preceding the filing of this petition")"

You do not need to write a letter. You do not need to write your whole love story. Just write when and how you met, and then when you met in person in the last 2 years. Give them dates and the location of your meeting. The way Coconuts wrote it above is a good example.

I gave you an example.

Answer the question in a simple way. Where you met (if it's online, say it's online) then state where and when you met in person.

I agree - mine was short, sweet and simple. Such as: Allan contacted me through an email on Dec 29, 2009. We emailed, fb'd, skyped until we decided to meet. We met Nov 20th in Boston where we spent 10 days together. I then flew to Scotland in February for 8 days where he proposed.

I didn't add much more than that in my question 18 and my NOA2 arrived today w/ no RFE.

Yeah just write a short letter and you will be good. My fiance wrote ours, he made a PDF file with photos and such, but I don't think that was necessary (though it was really cute (L) )

05/02/2011 - petition approved

07/19/2011 - interview (approved!!!!!)
