I think my hubby will be getting his stepdad as the co-sponsor for our i-864 they live in the same house... Do they need to prove to NVC their relation to each other? But how can we do that? any suggestions? Can we scan their drivers license to show same residence? Well we're quite unsure about this matter so please help us... I need help for this thanks friends =)

then your husband's parents marriage certificate. That's what I did and I added my birth certificate (obviously copies of both) and highlighted my mom's name, my step dad's name on their marriage certificate and then on my birth certificate I highlighted my mom's name and my own name. (I'm the petitioner).

Thanks but what else do they need as per a joint sponsor is concern? do we also need to send documents to establish their citizenship? or US domicile? what else did u send with your aos packet? thank you...

The co-sponsor needs to be a US citizen - so, a copy of Birth Certifcate, if born in US else copy of either a Naturalization Certifcate or US passport. His I-864 signed, his 2010 IRS Tax Transcript of full set of tax returns filed (2009 & 2008 are optional), his employment (optional) & 1 or 2 of his latest pay stubs (optional).

Of course you will have to file signed I-864 or I-864EZ, as the case may be and an explanation letter (optional).

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX
