B2 visa denied in past

Mt fiancee has her K1 visa interview on July 21st. We were talking the other day and I had a question about an answer for form 156. We had to put that she was denied a B2 visa more than 2 years ago to come to the USA to visit friends. Does anyone know if this will cause any problem for the K1 visa to be approved by the consulate? I am worried that they will ask about it. I would hope it not cause a problem but would like to know what others think. I do not know why it was denied but have always knew it was hard to get approved for that type of visa from her home country.

It would not create problem, just the CO would want to make sure that your relation is legit and she is just not trying to use the relation as a medium to gain entry in US.

My fiancee had the same. No problem. Never even came up during the interview. Just state honestly, and you will be OK.

no problem, i was denied four times for b2 visa, and it did'nt come up in my interview

no problem just make sure you tell everything about that b2 on the k1 interview forms if needed

Hey Dyana,

Did you mark on form DS-156 for question #31 where is ask if ever refused for Us visa? Did you put yes, and then it was never asked about at interview. My fiancee is worried tomorrow that they will ask about it.
