Im in the same situation. My case is also put in AP. I'm already waiting almost 3 months and yet nothing good still waiting. I so hope that the review will be over and that the visa will be release soon.

:wow: You may have set a new record at the American Embassy in Manila!!!

What was the problem with your interview / paperwork? Did you have to interview a second time?

During my interview in the releasing window the person incharge just told me to wait till I can hear from them. But after 2 weeks we emailed the embassy and they told us that our case was for further review and document verification. And After two months we emailed the embassy again, and we received a reply telling us that the consul need to be satisfied with our relationship. Its kinda scary because its like the CO doesnt believe with our relationship. But still im hoping for a possitive vibes this Month.

:wow: First, their reason was document verification, and now their excuse is they don't believe your relationship is legitimate.

Maybe it's a test. As the petitioner, I would be calling and emailing the Embassy every other day in order to show them how much I care about my relationship. I would also contact my United States Senator's offices and ask them to intervene.

My fiance already contacted the Senator and they email the embassy and they received same response. We email the embassy again and asked if there will be additional documents needed so we can submit it as soon as possible, but they told us that no document is needed but only to wait till their review is done. Its frustrating but maybe we need to still wait for little more time. Me and my fiance mailed proof to the embassy such as pictures, emails, chat logs although they dont ask for it.. I wonder if they look at it, because during my interview they didnt even look one of my proof I brought. I hope their so-called review will be done.

You've done everything you can do. I'm glad your Senator checked into it. Even if a Senator has no power to officially do anything, their call to the Embassy puts the Embassy on notice that you care enough about your relationship to go to all of the trouble of contacting your Senator.

I truly believe that you will finally get your visa, and all of your waiting will have been worth it.

Best wishes... :star:

hi,my husband and i are going through a similar ordeal.

There was a mistake in my date of birth on my previous international passport

and i used to apply for visa in 2009. bcos of that, our case was put under Administrative

processing. My first interview was March 2011 while my last interview was 20th september 2011

where i was made to submit my Original birth certificate,

Driving licence, Church Baptism card and Affidavite of date of birth. Was told that i would be called

back within 2month after the AP.

we pray every day to get a call from them bcos we have not seen each other for 1year now.

we are barely surviving without each other.

pls is there anyone with similar experience?

hello

I had an interview appointment on 10 July 2014.

the interview went well, but the officer gave me a blue sheet with a Administrative processing checkbox.

he asked me some question about my fiance's previous marriage and aslo about my workplace which was in the some it engineering companies that they work for some banks.

and then he told me normally this process would take 3-6 monthes.

I am so upset and i dont know whats the meaning of this paper.

I really appreciated if some people can help me

Thanks
