5 months today, still no NOA2

I received my NOA1 on 2-16-2011. Here I am, 5 months later, still no word since February. In the meantime, I am watching many others have their interviews within 4 months of filing. I don't know what's going on.

Has anyone had any success with contacting your respective Senator's office to get your case expedited? Since the VSC has now exceeded their projected 5-month processing time for I-129F's , I am thinking of doing so.

Just need a little encouragement, that's all. Julia and I have already planned our "religious" (but NOT legally binding) ceremony and honeymoon for late-September and early-October, and I really want her to return with me to the USA, with Fiancée Visa in hand, after our honeymoon.

Trusting God...He acts for those who wait on Him!

There seems to be quite a few of us who received their NOA1s during mid-late February and haven't gotten their NOA2 yet, as there have been other posts lately made by people who've been waiting over 5 months too. It's awfully frustrating to see how people are receiving their NOA2s after only waiting 3 and 4 months, but at least it makes me feel better to think that, being so many other people in the same situation, perhaps there wasn't anything wrong with my case and it's just a general delay... Hopefully we'll start receiving our NOA2 soon!
