It is so upsetting to see that vsc seemed to have slow down again. There has been no approval seen in 3 to 4 days now. Not sure if its because people not updating timelines or vsc not approving any k1 applications. I know I only received my noa1 66 days ago and there are people waiting a lot longer. I'm half way there but the slowing down can really sometimes take its toll. Just when I think vsc is getting better they seem to slip up and gets slow...good luck to all the may filers and others who are still in the waiting mode for noa2 at vsc.

I called the Vermont Service Center and asked why? what happened? Guess what the response was....bingo! We are processing visa's in the order received. I asked.... then why have I not seen any approved Visa's for 4 days? and again....we are processing them as fast as we can. Don't waste your time with them. Just relax and stand in line, a long line.

Hope I can offer some peace of mind...I remember being frustrated just like you guys at VSC, but what I can tell you is it will be like this...no approvals in a few days...then all of a sudden, they're doing 50 - 70 over a week. Your time will come! Hang in there. They are working hard, I assure you. VJ is only a tiny fraction of the volume they process.

@DizzyLox.. I hope that is the case and we all can see some approvals rolling in. I read some posts in the past and according to that July suppose to be a fast approval month for k1 since that's all they focus on. I'm not to sure that is so true now. They seemed to be fast beginning of month but slowed down tremendously.... guess all we can do is wait and hope for a fast noa2....

A quick thought: How are you figuring out whether a service center is going fast or slow?

If it is based on how many are getting approved and you see in this site would be wrong. I think VJ shows the stats based on it's registered members, hence that may not be the actual picture.

If VJ has a way to connect with USCIS can show the right stat, but I highly doubt that is even a possibility.

However like DiZZyLoX, I would suggest to have patience. One thing I learned from my personal experience (and still learning) on a particular topic with USCIS or NVC is that nothing is certain. We can make a guess or prediction, or make an assumption but can't say something for sure. Not sure how long the K1 may take, whether for USC or not, but if you got your NOA1 in May, I don't think you are over the time limit for the NOA2. Yes, some may get it in 2 o 3 months, but some do get after 5 months. Why? I don't think there are cases where you can't find a justification. Just don't stress yourself out. Of course you will be worried and regardless what I (or anyone) says, will be stressed at times, but hold on, have patience.

Good luck on your Journey

There's a VSC approval today, so maybe they'll pick up again. Who knows, maybe they had a pep talk or staff meeting to figure out how to get the approval rate moving up! One can wish, right?
