hi, yep i know exactly how you feel :(

the person on the phone at USCIS said it can sometimes just take more time, but if its not received within 7-8 weeks, resubmit.

im trying not to let it get to me and we are preparing the package tomorrow just in case we still havent heard in a few weeks so we can resend.

hope yours arrives soon :) i know a few peopel who had to wait 29 days etc. so all hope is not yet lost!

I sent my paperwork in to Texas Service Center on Sept 1st. Money order was cashed on the 14th, But no NOA1 yet.

yeah i would think yours would be along in a few days from what i have read of others :)

our check still hasnt been cashed and its now 31 days, although that included this saturday and labor day...

so if no noa by next week for us or check cashed, i will know it has been stolen my the i-129f pixies.

hope yours comes soon :)

I got the green postcard back saying ours was received at the TSC pn Sept 8 but still no NOA1 or cashed check yet.

It's still very early for you. I received the NOA1 nearly a week before the check cashed. I kept checking the bank account instead of the mailbox! :P Some have the check cashed first, I didn't. I wouldn't expect anything before 2 weeks from mailing the petition and not to worry until 4 weeks have passed.

Good luck

Took us a long time to get our NOA1 as well. See the sig. But never give up hope. Remember they are a government organisation, the only thing they rush to do is take money. Everything else is on the backburner.

October 29th 2000: She sends me e-mail asking if I would marry her

October 29th 2000(5 seconds later): I say yes

November 2000: She sends me tickets to Orlando for when I get back

December 6th 2000: Return from Bos

December 11th 2000: Fly to Orlando, she meets me at airport

December 22nd 2000: I fly back to UK

January 3rd 2001: She flies to UK (Good times)

Mid February 2001: Pregnancy test Positive

Mid February 2001: She flies back to US

March 2001: Miscarriage, I fly to US on first flight I can get

May 2001: I leave US before my 90 days are up

June 2001: I fly back to US, stopped at airport for questioning as I had only just left

September 2001: Pregnancy test Positive again

September 2001: She falls sick, I make decision to stay to look after her as I am afraid I may have problems getting back in.

April 16th 2002: Our son is born, we start getting stuff together for his passport

March 6th 2003: We leave US for UK as family

Early April 2003: Family troubles make her return to US, I ask Embassy in London about possibilities of returning to US

April 16th 2003: London Embassy informs me that I will be banned from the Visa Waiver Program for 10 years, my little boys first birthday

June 13th 2006: I-129f sent

yeah its 5 weeks tomorrow and no check cashed.

we will give it another 2 and then resubmit as the baby is now in its 7th week and i dearly want to be back for the birth :(

maybe i should just give up on that idea the way things are going.

edit:

MacUK, how long was it before they cashed your check, was it right before you got the noa1?

hi,

well i kept all the forms and such and ive been preparing the other evidence again today. I leave back to the UK tomorrow, so im going to leave a fully prepared re submission :(

USCIS said leave it 8 weeks before resubmitting, although another lady said wait till the end of the month.

i think we will give it one more week, if no check is cashed, resubmit the file.

thanks for your message, im a bit of an emotional mess right now with the docs saying my partner is at a high risk of miscarriage still and me having to leave tomorrow.

I'd wait... I think resubmitting and having two checks out there...Will only confuse the the Gov. People at CSC... If the first check bounces because you put a stop payment on it..and they send out a notice to you..and then your new packet gets there...OMG can you imagine these guys trying to figure out which is which... This will only slow the process up... Your file will be red flagged for non-payment..and then a new packet shows up with the same SSN and a new check... :o

I vote on you waiting alittle longer... give it the 8 weeks...

As easy as it may be for me to say this..... It will come. But, I do agree that it has taken a bit longer than I would have expected. Unfortunately, the anxious feeling has only left me briefly for a day or two after receiving my NOA1. Now that I am in the NOA2 waiting phase, the anxious feeling is back!!!! Aagghh..... Sorry, I know your notice will come and you will soon be in the NOA2 boat with the rest of us. Good Luck on your new baby. I wish you a fast approval.....:)

Our lawyer sent our papers out on the 21st of August, and we still don't have NOA1 either. I am getting worried and keep talking about that with my fiance, but the lawyer says, things don't move so fast. So I am not sure what to believe. I am getting very very worried!!! :crying:

I sent my package to TSC on Sept. 1st. It was a long holiday weekend so I expected some small delay. But even with that, I received my NOA1 back from CSC on the 18th. Web site said they received the package at TSC on the 5th, entered the computer system on the 12th. NOA sent from CSC on the 13th. I would expect you should get it back anytime.
