60 days for RFE response review in CSC?

"You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done." Is it really takes 60 days for the RFE response review?

60 days is their standard response for everything. Any reply for them will be within 60 days

It took us about 2 weeks after our RFE to get our NOA2

Look at it as a blessing. After 2 RFE's in my case, Approved in less than 2 weeks. (Happens all the time)

8/15/10 ......He visit Philippines(2wks) & met my family
12/17/10 ....USCIS received the Filed I-129F for K1-visa
12/21/10 ....Received hard copy,NOA1
5/25/11.......Received RFE
6/09/11.......NOA2 approved
12/07/11.....Visa fee paid at BPI
6/11/13.......2nd visa fee payment
7/10-11/13.. Medical Exam completed@St.Lukes Clinic
1/15-16/14.. 2nd Medical exam updated
1/21/14...... k1 interview-Visa Approved

8/29/14...... Submitted AOS application
10/03/14.....Biometrics
01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

i just received an RFE today and i am freaking out. What do this RFEs ask about.Any general opinions?

A RFE is Only asking for a Clarification of the paperwork submitted.

The NOA1 Only means: You submitted the correct paperwork and Paid Homeland Security. The NOA1 is nothing but a Reciept of payment.

The NOA2 is when they (USCIS) DIGS DEEPER into your Petition and if everything looks fine they will issue a NOA2. If they question the Petition, thats when a RFE falls into place. After a Response generally everything will be fine.

Getting a RFE before the Approval of the NOA1 means there was a Mistake in the Paperwork and deamed "Unacceptable". Therefore, a RFE.

Simple as that. Thats the way I see it.
