To submit original or certified marriage contract

Hi guys. I just have a question about submitting original copy of documents or Marriage contract to be exact. My wife wants to submit original copy but I want to submit certified copy of our Marriage Contract. I'm wondering if someone had a problem getting their original copy back? When i filed for I-130, I submitted only a copy of our Original copy of Marriage Contract, which contain a back to back copy (at the back of our original marriage certificate where a full list of witnesses signed with their name on it). Certified copy from NSO only have front and incomplete witnesses... Wondering, how to get the original copy back once you submitted it? Is it after the interview?

To those who submitted their original copy of their documents, how did you get your original back? Thanks in advance!!!

USICS only requires photocopies of documents. If they need an original, they will specifically request it.

If you submit an orginal to USCIS, you won't get it back.

I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood me.... I'm already talking DS-230 form. We're already approved on NOA2 and already have a case number. USCIS no longer handling our petition papers. USCIS already passed it to NVC and NVC sent it our petition papers to US Embassy of Manila. All documents needed for DS-230 are either original or certified... Thanks though...

I sent my DS230 to my husband with all the required documents from here. He sent it together with the Affidavit of Support to NVC.
