Happy Friday to everyone! :D Watching Cairo with held breath today. I am supposed to leave for Egypt on July 15 to officially celebrate our engagement with my Sameh and his family, but now am worried about if I will be able to go at all! Hopefully today's planned demonstrations in Tahrir will remain peaceful and it will not be an issue to our plans, inshaa allah! We have waited long enough for time together, and plane tickets are too expensive to be lost like that!!!! A bit cooler yesterday in Arkansas, and they say today will be as well! It's sad when we consider mid to upper 90's a "cool down", but it sure beats 100's with all the humidity we have! Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!!!

Happy Monday MENA Vjers,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. It's been 43 days since fiance had his k-1 visa interview and still no visa. They didn't give him any sort of paper to show that we were denied just asked for the affidavit of support and more photos. I've emailed them twice heard nothing back. I've called them but the give me the same speil evertime ." We have all yoru paper work the concelor haan't reviewd your case yet or is still reviewing it." I wan't letting her get me off the phone this time so easily. She said theat they would try to work on it this week? Not sure if that was just to get me off the phone or if she was being sincere? I really hope they approve it this week. I am soo tired of not knowing. But our applications expires the 28th of this month but since we had our interview does that affect anything or do I need to file for an extension?

Good afternoon all, well almost finished our paperwork to send in the I-130, then the long ride on the USCIS rollercoaster.

Hope everyone is well and happy.
