J-1 to K-1

Hello, my fiancee is a J-1 visa holder (it will expire October 4th), and I am a US citizen. She is sponsored currently by a business here in Florida and I have a full time job myself. I was wondering if anyone could help us, we will get married August 11th, but we want her to legally be able to stay in America while I finish school, and eventually get her into college here (transfer from hers). She also doesn't want to go back to Macedonia to have to wait for a visa to be approved, and I am not quite sure what to do from here. I know about some of the forms I need to file to sponsor her as a K-1, but will it be needed? We already live together (have for over a month), and don't want to separate anytime soon. Please help!

K-1 is a visa, since your girlfriend is already in the country, she doesn't need a visa. She needs to adjust her status in the US after you marry

As your fiancee is a J-1 visa holder, make sure she is not subject to 2 years home residency requirement. If she is - she needs to apply for a waiver, get approved and only then file for AOS.
