Hello,

I made a stupid error on my original i-864. I resubmitted the first week of June, but for all I know, they haven't even looked at it yet. I called, and they told me to call back after 20 business days (which I have to no avail). I realize it has not been dangerously long, but like many of you all know, we have been waiting for a very long time!

Has anyone had this experience before and/or know the normal wait time for a i-864 resubmittal?

Thanks

I did the same and resubmitted my paper work about... June 4th and they received it on the 7th. My case was completed on the 24th and I JUST received our interview date!!! So it won't be long, hang in there =)

I also made a stupid error filling out the I-864...after i overnighted the corrected version back, it was about 2 weeks...that was back in 2007...good luck

right after i made this post i got a reply, but not the one i had hoped for! looks like my co-signer made a little error and he was forced to resubmit AGAIN. But, in the end, it was about two weeks, so perhaps this is the normal wait time. i'll post back next week to confirm.

For electronic processing, it took just a few extra days for them to accept my resubmitted I-864 as a good one.

NVC made an error in looking at my 864, and they tried to get me to resubmit, but i showed them it was their error and not mine, and so far it will be two weeks tomorrow since they agreed it was their error--guess it doesn't matter if we resubmit or in my case get them to look at it with fresh eyes--hopefully it is close to approval.
