DS-3032 Without NVC request

Hi to all! Im in F2A category and got approved last May26, 2011. As of now the NVC hasnt send me DS-3032 and the like. So what i did is, i tried some shortcuts. I constructed an email which goes like this:

To whom it may concern:

My name is _____________, my visa case number is # is ________________.

Per the DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa Applicants), I would like to appoint myself as agent of choice to receive all future correspondence from the U.S. Department of State. My contact information is provided below:

Name:

Address:

Phone:

Email: @yahoo.com

All mail from the U.S. Department of State concerning my immigrant visa should be sent to the address above.

Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank you for your help.

Few days from sending it to NVC, i got a reply which states:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We updated the mailing/email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation that may affect the principal applicant's entitlement to a visa.

Now here's my question, did the NVC accepted this email as per DS-3032? Anybody who tried to do the same, please share. So I will know what step I will do next. Thanks!

this seems to be an automated reply...

NVC assigns every person a specific bar code...

there is no point of sending anything without it

I received an automated response right after i sent the email. That reply above that i received was sent to me 1 week after.

the petitioner in the USA should call NVC, get the ball rolling with that phone call.

hey i posted a thread same with this concern and somebody replied(posted below)...

the thread was "what will be the exact reply of NVC when sending ds3032 through email if it is accepted"

You will get an email with instructions what to do next--the key paragraph telling you all is ok will be like this:

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

DS-3032 intake solely by the visa applicant is not what starts things, alas.

We did that already. The operators always tell us, that since your PD is not current, you dont have to do or make any actions. It feels bad, waiting kills me. I know we are under F2A category and our PD is way far to be current, but cant they (NVC) started to send out instructions so atleast we can make our selves busy?

ah - LPRs or Priority dates - sorry, I'm out, on that one.

When yer PD becomes current, time to play at NVC.

As stated by ljmp_10,me here is the same situation.my case approved on may 28th but still not getting anything from NVC.but my question is as darnel says that it must be to do something when PD is current and NVC starts its work. but as of my friend he apply his 7 years son in F2A category and his PD is sep 10,he already got his DS-3032 and other document from NVC.so how come he got all doc from NVC.why we r not.me also trying to keep busy myself but NVC makes me depressed...i dont know what to do.//any advice...plz share me

I agree with u. waiting makes me depressed. there are some who finished their cases in a year. why cant we? i always pray that NVC will soon send us documents, atleast what we are to wait is for the PD to become current by that time.
