Does Oklahoma City ASC accept early bio (walk-in)?

Does anyone has walkins experience here?

My bio appt will be on Jul 12, while my due date will be on 13 (I'm 37 weeks pregnant). I wonder if OKC office allows walkins for biometrics or not. It takes 1.5 hrs driving from where we at to the OKC office, so it's kinda risky to just go ahead and "try" our luck. Also, both me and hubby need to be off from work too. If, they don't allow walkins, we might need to reschedule the appt by mail and would probably get a later date for my bio. Personally, I'd like to have an early bio so that I don't have to worry about bio around my due date or after the baby's born (I figure that I'll be pretty busy with the new born baby).

If anyone has any experience or can give me any advices, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Lilies, well I have no idea about walkins @ Oklahoma City.... but from what I gather, approx 9 out of 10 people who walk in are allowed/accepted when they get there. so i dont forsee any problems.

When I had my Bio during AOS, the security personnel didnt even blink and just waved me on through. The receptionist I think did look at it weird and I may have blurted out "I called last week to USCIS and they confirmed my appointment is changed for today and said I didnt need a new bio letter" ...or something to that effect, she replied "oh ok" and pointed me to where i needed to wait.

Normally, if they say nothing, you just say nothing, and most of the time, it will be fine!!! :star:

I just got my Bio Letter today, date set for 07/20 but I plan on going in this Tuesday to get it done. And if i need to give a reason, I'll be using the same one i gave at AOS  (or start crying...lol either way I'll try something! )

We tried to do a walk-in at the OKC office in April but they wouldn't allow it. On the day of my wife's bio appointment they wouldn't even let us in 45 minutes early. They told us no one enters until 15 minutes before their appointment. On that day they were extremely busy and spouses were not allowed to enter either. There were a bunch of us waiting in the parking lot.

If you happen to be in the OKC area for some reason there is no harm in trying for an early bio but based on my experience I would not make a special trip.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I do really appreciate it. Sounds like they would not allow walk in. I better try to reschedule it or keep my appt date (if the baby comes earlier).

How long was the biometric process for your wife?

The actual biometric process took about 20 minutes because they were packed. If not busy it usually takes 10 minutes.

If you happen to be in the OKC area sometime go ahead and try to get it done early, maybe they will let you in when they see you and you explain the situation with the due date.
