Hi guys,

Got back from my interview this afternoon. Interview was scheduled at 1:30pm at the Milwaukee field office.

I got in the building around 1:20pm and went through security rapidly and headed to the 1st floor where I dropped my interview letter.

There were a few people there but nothing crazy. A nice lady came out around 1:55 and called my name and ushered me into her nice office.

I proceeded to sit but she stopped me midway and asked me to remain standing and swear to tell the truth ....

Then she said we will start with the test.

She asked me to read WHO WAS ABRAHAM LINCON

and asked me to write LINCOLN WAS PRESIDENT DURING THE CIVIL WAR

and then we proceeded to the civics test She asked 6 questions and stopped after I answered all 6 correctly.

Then she asked me the Have you EVER been ......type of questions.

She then said i had passed and she will approve my application and made me sign a document and also asked me to check the spelling of my name, DOB and my current country of citizen. Also I mentioned my wife and I just bought a new home and we are moving into it next month so she updated my address in the system and said I shouldn't worry about filinf AR-11 on line and with uscis.

I had all these documents as evidence but the only thing she asked for were my green card and drivers license.

I spent not more than 5 minutes in her office and she said congratulations and I should expect the oath letter soon.

Hope those still waiting will hear something soon. Good luck to all.

Was yours the three or five year application? We were always sent to Milwaukee for biometrics, but to St. Paul for interviews. Weren't quite so nice as your interview with a misplaced application and a decision cannot be made at this time for no good specific reason. Wonder if living in Wisconsin with the Green Bay Packers has anything to do with that.

Some friends live only 80 miles from Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, but still have to drive clear across state to St. Paul, so really don't know how they divide districts. Certainly not by distance to your nearest field office. Just kept my big mouth shut and followed instructions to get it over with.

You went to that field office located at 310 East Knapp Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202,right? With biometrics on four different occasions, we were in and out of there in five minutes. Would have been five trips if they weren't so kind to take my stepdaughter that was scheduled at a different time than my wife. Waited as long as 3 1/2 hours for an interview at St. Paul. Our distance from St. Paul or Milwaukee is within ten miles of each other.

Yeah 310 East Knapp st was where I was and my application was based on the 3 year period through marriage.

I did my ROC and N-400 there. They allowed me to do early walk-in biometrics for both stages and things seem to be smooth with them. I forgot to ask my IO how long it takes for them to schedule Oaths.

Milwaukee office is tiny compared to the one at St. Paul, also parking can be a problem. Was very curious where the interviews were held. Perhaps even more curious as to why we went their for biometrics instead of St. Paul and interviews exclusively at St. Paul.

My mine is not to reason why, was to do or watch my precious wife get deported. Our military was that way, never would tell you why, when, or where, everything was classified and top secret. But good get a damned good idea from watching the news.
