Guys,

When filling out I-485 it is asking on part 3.b about the current spouse & Alien number. I am the spouse and i am the USC but a naturalized one. Should we just lease it blank or should we put my A# there (But i a USC now)?

Where in the I-485 it says about the fee for biometrics? All i can find is the $985 for AOS.

Thanks much,

I can't answer the first question, but the biometrics fee is mentioned in the I-485 instructions, page 8, under "What is the Filing Fee?". $985 for the form, and $85 for biometrics = $1070. You can write one check for that amount.

I'm the USC petitioner.

Part 3 is about the beneficiary not the sponsor. It is for the spouse that came to the US so it is their number The whole form is for the beneficiary not the USC. The $1070 includes Biometrics you don't pay a separate fee if doing with I-485 fees are waived for 131 AP and 765 EAD, all inclusive with $1070

No!!! The applicant (immigrant) fills out the entire form themselves. That section is what the applicant (immigrant) writes about THEIR spouse! So the OP was right, the applicant (immigrant) writes THEIR USC spouses name and USC spouses alien number (if applicable) in that section

I can't be bothered checking the form to find the specific reference to biometrics but it's there.

And you might be a USC but you're naturalised which means you have an Alien number. It's yours for life, even after naturalisation, so yes you list it.
