I'm kinda worried because I only have some love cards from My Fiancee...I used to save chat history but since My computer messed up the mesages have been deleted. and also My Fiancee never saved any but we do have lots of phone records and also atm receipts and packages receipts. I am a subscriber of PLDT dsl package and it only costs 1 peso per minute calling USA and I also have 30 mins free calls every month. but since we got magic jack I only have few calls made using my landline whenever Internet connections or majick jack fails to work..we also have lots lots of pictures together to present but still I am kinda worried. Unfortunately my Fiancee gave me his laptop because mine didn't work no more.that's why when he flew back to U.S he didn't use computer much..only when he visits his mother then we could get on skype...can anyone tell me if it's just ok? thanks

Well, get all the records you can and start saving your chats and emails. even 123 greeting cards on here which are free show relationship. and now, there is a place on the site to print them out. anything you have to show you connect, talk, love each other is wht they look for.

Everything else was very much in order with our petition, but we were approved for our visa in Manila with only this secondary evidence:

- Six photos printed on a single 8x11 sheet of paper

- Flight boarding passes

- Engagement ring receipt

No phone call records, no email records, none of that stuff.

Payxibka is right, without knowing all of your specifics it is impossible to give you a specific answer. But if all of your ducks are in a row -- and there are no negative conditions to your packet -- Manila isn't exactly the most difficult consulate to get through.

But, in general, it is safe to say it wouldn't hurt you any to take all of it in with you to the interview. Just file it well so you can access it without looking, with the worst case being you simply will not need it after sitting down with the CO.

Good luck.

None of that stuff will be useful with the petition because it doesn't prove you've met within the past two years. Whether it will be of any use at the consulate depends on how smoothly your interview goes. They may not ask to see much evidence at all, in which case you'll be fine. If they ask for more evidence and you don't have it then you've got a problem.

hi! actually i sort of have the same dilemma. it's just that we chat every single day, and then video skype every weekends so we don't call each other on the phone. so i would like to know where's the place on this site to print out all the chats...where would that be?

thanks so much!

OP has already received NOA2 so this is regarding ongoing relationship and providing evidence of that at the interview. Am I correct? OP talks about it in another post.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Thank u..i still have questions do u think i will be needing some documents like NSO BC and singleness (CENOMAR)since we already forwarded them to the homeland sec when we filed our petition last year...because i am not so sure if the embassy will ask to submit these documents again..i will be receiving packet soon according to the NVC and i wanna be prepared.

Unless something has changed, you'll definitely need to hand over a copy of your CENOMAR and NSO BC at the counter before being called in for your interview.

We did --

JimVaPhuong couldn't have said it any better. If everything goes well during the interview, you may not need any additional evidence -- as was our case. If it goes poorly, then you could find yourself needing everything you can possibly muster in order to satisfy the CO.

Best thing to do is take it all with you to cover your bases.
