thanks guys!

my story was that i came here in 2010, got married, filed my I-485, and was approved, then got a letter in the mail stating that i needed to apply for the I-601, for a theft charge back in 2002. we filed Dec 29th 2010, and got a call yesterday to come to the Atlanta Office, and they approved us! we have already gotten a email of card production!

we got a 2 year green card, as we have been married less than 2 years. then we can remove those conditions, (i-751) and 9 months after that, we can apply for citzenship.

Hi... I am so happy that I found this section of VJ ... today. I am waiting for approval of my I601 Waiver. I had my interview at the Vancouver consulate on Feb. 28 /2011. The man that conducted my interview basically approved my application SUBJECT to a Waiver for a 28 yr old criminal record. He said that they would recommend my waiver.....and I filed my application for the Waiver at the end of March. It was received in Vermont on Apr 19. I did have a pardon here in Canada.. I had a 'suspended sentence'... NOW today I received an email from the Vancouver Consulate.. asking me to confirm some information, which I did. I have NO idea what this might mean... I keep checking the site to see if USCIS has made a decision, but not yet....... I wait with my phone daily,... and am trying so hard to be patient. CAN you tell me anything about this process that might give me some hope?? I would so appreciate it....... Thank you.. elaina on VJ
