I-797C Notice of Action

I recieved this form in the mail today and it has a WAC receipt number on it. But when i enter it online to check status it tells me that it is not there.

??? any suggestions?

what is it notice for? from your timeline would seem to be NOA1 or possibly your case is being transferred to CSC.

It says on the top I-797C, Notice of Action. And the Notice Type is "Receipt Notice"

Came from California... and it has a WAC-XX-XXX-XXXXX number on it. I'm so excited it came, but i'm frustrated that I can't make the number work!

Are you using Internet Explorer? Maybe it's something to do with the browser. I don't know what else to do... it's so wierd that it won't work.

Sometimes it takes a day or so, or in some cases a week or more for your case number to show up online. Sounds like you've received your NOA1. Be patient, try again in a few days. When my husband and I submitted our AOS stuff it took over three weeks for the case numbers to show up online.
