My fiancee missed her Medical appointment as she is ill. She is attempting to get a new appointment, but is still very ill. We have already sent in a letter to the UK embassy asking for a 5 month extention. The 5 months is over June 15th. The delay has been personal and she also had to fly back to her home country to get a police report. We have all of the documents ready and sent in the Document Rediness form.

My question is, what do we do? Does a petition actually expire or can we just continue on and pray for an interview soon.

Thanks.

Jeff

Email the embassy, ask for another extension. If you feel it is 'close' - ask for end of june interview.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The consulate can keep extending the validity of the petition approval as long as you and/or your fiancee stay in touch with them, but they can't extend it more than one year beyond the original approval date.
