Hi all

I have my interview in london on tuesday morning at 8:30am. The nerves are really starting to creep in now, but i guess its only natural. I know it clearly states on the website what documents to bring to interview, but it would just be great to have someone on here just double reassure me that i have everything i need for the big day. The embassy website can sometimes get a little confusing (well to me it does)

so i have ready for interview.......

passport

birth certificate

police certificate

i-134 from fiance and co-sponsor including tax/w2 forms for past 3 years, plus employee letter and birth certificates and other financial supporting evidence

lots of supporting evidence i.e photos, flight stubs e.c.t

interview letter

mrv receipt of payment

my passport style photos

NOA1 and 2

copy of i-129f original

DS-230 part 2

all originals

if im missing anything PLEASE let me know. Many thanks in advance guys, im always so appreciative and greatful of all the help i get from you guys on vj

Seems like you are covered! (In fact you have way too much...but I did too. Better to be safe!)

Just make sure your photographs are US standard.

I would recommend either tucking a magazine into your documents or finding someone to chat with once you arrive. It can be a long wait :)

Have fun and good luck! It's not as scary as it seems!

Congrats! You're going to do awesome.

I have a question for you, when did you pay the MRV fee? When you received your appointment letter or after you sent in packet 3? Will they schedule an interview if you haven't paid the fee yet? Or do they wait to schedule an interview until after you've paid the fee? Just trying to gauge if we have some time to pay the fee or if we need to go ahead and scrounge up now if it will affect them actually scheduling our interview?

Does my fiance need to have my birth certificate or passport AND my co sponsors?

The USC already proved citizenship in the petition, so no to your passport/birth certificate. London doesn't seem too bothered with some of the details on the I-134, but I would include proof of the co-sponsor being a citizen like the I-864 Affidavit of Support definitely requires.

You can pay after you get the appointment. I've read recent people commenting they did that. The Embassy would write it in the instructions (website) if they were going to withhold interview until payment, like they warn you the medical results must be received. And I haven't read of anybody waiting and waiting on an interview that were told it was because they hadn't paid.

Hey! Congrats on the interview and good luck!

To DiZZyLoX, this is what the London embassy site says about the MRV Fee on the fees tab, http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/iv_fees.html:

K Visa Applicants pay the fee to the Operator Assisted Information Service prior to attending the visa interview. Instructions concerning payment will be sent to you with the appointment letter.

I would be happy to pay the fee in advance if it would mean an earlier interview date, but it doesn't look like it would make a difference!
